By downloading, accessing, or using Dialog, you agree to these terms and the Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use Dialog.
Who may use Dialog
You must be at least 13 and old enough to consent to data processing and form a binding contract where you live. If you are under the age of majority, a parent or legal guardian must permit your use and agree to these terms for you.
You may use Dialog only where its use is lawful and the App Store makes it available.
Your account
Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in method secure, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access to support@dialog.day. You are responsible for activity under your account unless applicable law says otherwise. Do not share, sell, or transfer access to your account.
Dialog may limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these terms, comply with law, or address misuse. You may stop using Dialog at any time and can delete app data or your account from Settings, then Data & Privacy.
What Dialog provides
Dialog is a productivity tool that uses selected calendar information, planning preferences, and your instructions to propose a timeboxed daily plan. It can project the current working plan to the writable plan calendar you select or create for review, then keep the proposed changes or undo them and restore the prior confirmed plan.
The service may change as it improves. Features can be added, limited, suspended, or discontinued. When a change materially reduces a paid service, Dialog will provide notice when reasonably possible and honor any rights required by law.
AI output and your decisions
Dialog uses artificial intelligence. Generated text and plans can be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unsuitable. Similar input can produce different results, and other users may receive similar output.
Review all output before relying on it, including a working plan that Dialog has already projected to your selected Daily plan calendar. Use the review controls to keep or undo proposed changes. You are responsible for your decisions, schedules, commitments, and use of output. Dialog does not provide medical, mental health, legal, financial, employment, or other professional advice.
Do not use Dialog as the sole basis for an emergency, safety-critical decision, legal deadline, medication schedule, financial transaction, or any situation where an error could cause serious harm.
Calendars and device permissions
You choose which calendars Dialog may read and which writable plan calendar receives the current working plan. You may create a dedicated calendar or select an existing writable calendar. Dialog manages only the projection events it creates there. You are responsible for reviewing proposed changes, using Keep or Undo as appropriate, and ensuring that the selected calendar is appropriate.
Calendar providers and iOS can change, reject, duplicate, delay, or remove events outside Dialog’s control. Keep your own records for commitments you cannot afford to lose. Revoking permission can prevent Dialog from reading, writing, undoing, or cleaning up calendar data.
Dialog is not authorized to modify your source events. If you believe it changed an event that Dialog did not create in the confirmed plan-calendar destination, stop using calendar writing and contact support.
Your content
You retain any rights you have in instructions, calendar context, messages, and other content you provide. Subject to applicable law, you may use the output Dialog produces for you.
You grant Yugo Atobe a limited, worldwide license to host, reproduce, transmit, transform, and process your content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Dialog service for you, comply with law, and enforce these terms. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backup, security, legal, or provider retention described in the Privacy policy.
You must have the rights and permissions necessary to provide content to Dialog. Do not submit content that unlawfully infringes privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, or other rights.
Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use Dialog to violate law or another person’s rights
- Attempt to access another account, private data, or restricted system
- Bypass authentication, subscription checks, rate limits, access controls, or safety measures
- Reverse engineer, decompile, extract, copy, or modify Dialog except where law expressly permits it
- Use automated or deceptive means to overload, probe, scrape, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service
- Introduce malware, interfere with service operation, or test vulnerabilities without written permission
- Misrepresent AI output as verified professional advice or use it to cause harm
Reasonable interoperability, security research, and statutory rights remain unaffected where they cannot lawfully be restricted.
Subscriptions and billing
Dialog may offer auto-renewing subscriptions through the App Store. The price, billing period, trial, and renewal terms shown in the purchase sheet at confirmation control the transaction.
- Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm a purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it through Apple before the renewal deadline shown for your account.
- Manage or cancel a subscription in iOS Settings under your Apple Account, then Subscriptions.
- Deleting Dialog, app data, or a Dialog account does not cancel an App Store subscription.
- Apple handles billing disputes and refund requests under its policies at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Price or tax changes are handled through the App Store notice and consent process required for your region.
Restoring purchases requires the same Apple Account and can depend on Apple, RevenueCat, network, and account state. Contact support if access does not return after a successful App Store purchase.
Beta and TestFlight
TestFlight and other beta versions are pre-release services. They can contain defects, lose local state, behave differently from a final release, or change without notice. Availability and beta access can end at any time.
Do not put sensitive information into a beta build unless you accept the added risk. Use TestFlight feedback or Support to report a problem without exposing private calendar content.
Third-party services
Dialog depends on services provided by Apple, calendar providers, Clerk, Convex, Vercel and downstream AI providers, RevenueCat, Superwall, Cloudflare, Google when selected, and other infrastructure providers. Their services have their own terms and privacy practices.
Dialog is not responsible for a third party’s independent service, outage, policy, account decision, or content. This does not limit responsibility that cannot be excluded by law.
Dialog intellectual property
Dialog, its source code, visual identity, app icon, website, documentation, and service design are owned by Yugo Atobe or licensed contributors and are protected by law. These terms grant only a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service in accordance with these terms and Apple’s Usage Rules.
If you provide feedback, you allow Yugo Atobe to use it without restriction or payment, provided that this does not transfer ownership of your private content or personal information.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dialog is provided as is and as available. Yugo Atobe disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and error-free operation.
Mandatory consumer guarantees, statutory warranties, and other rights that cannot be waived remain in effect.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yugo Atobe is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential loss, or for lost data, profits, opportunities, goodwill, or business interruption arising from Dialog.
For any claim that can lawfully be limited, total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for Dialog during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation does not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that applicable law does not permit to be limited.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Yugo Atobe against third-party claims and reasonable costs resulting from your unlawful use of Dialog, content that violates another person’s rights, or a material breach of these terms. This section does not apply where the claim was caused by Dialog or where consumer law prohibits it.
Changes and termination
These terms may be updated to reflect service, provider, security, or legal changes. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, when appropriate, advance notice in the app or by email. If you do not agree to updated terms, stop using Dialog and cancel any subscription through Apple.
Terms that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, dispute provisions, and rights needed to resolve prior activity, will survive.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to mandatory consumer rights, the Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from Dialog.
Nothing in these terms removes a right to bring a claim in your local court, use an alternative dispute process, or receive protections that the law where you live requires.
Before filing a claim, please contact support@dialog.day and provide enough information to understand the dispute. You and Yugo Atobe agree to try in good faith to resolve it informally for 30 days, unless urgent relief or a limitation period requires earlier action.
Apple terms
These terms are between you and Yugo Atobe, not Apple. Yugo Atobe, not Apple, is responsible for Dialog and its content, maintenance, support, and claims, except as applicable law provides.
Your license is non-transferable and limited to Apple-branded products you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Family Sharing or volume purchasing can apply where Apple permits it.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If Dialog fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any, as required by Apple’s rules. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
Yugo Atobe is responsible for addressing claims about product liability, legal or regulatory conformity, consumer protection, and alleged intellectual property infringement. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce the Apple-related provisions after you accept them.
You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a United States Government embargo and are not listed on a United States Government prohibited or restricted-party list.
General
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified only as much as needed and the remaining provisions stay effective. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these terms without consent; Yugo Atobe may transfer them with Dialog, subject to applicable notice and privacy obligations.
These terms, the Privacy policy, Apple’s applicable terms, and any purchase terms shown to you form the agreement governing your use of Dialog.
